Announcing Sovah ENT & Allergy - South Boston

Sovah ENT & Allergy opened today in South Boston with Marilyn Phillips-Grossman, FNP-C as the provider.

We are thrilled to be able to expand our ENT care offerings to the South Boston and Halifax communities with Marilyn as the provider to care for these patients. The expansion of our ENT services ensures that local patients can remain close to home for their care, rather than travelling long distances for specialized offerings. Marilyn’s reputation for achieving high levels of quality care and patient satisfaction will be an excellent resource for the community.

Marilyn Grossman, FNP-C is a 2003 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with a Master's in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner certification.  Marilyn is credentialed as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.  She has been practicing at Sovah ENT & Allergy – Danville for 17 years seeing patients from infancy through geriatrics.  

South Boston specialties will include:

• • Ear: ear pain, infections, drainage, perforated ear drum, cerumen removal, scheduling ear tubes and other ear surgeries
    
    
  • Allergy and Nasal Disorders: Treating allergies, scheduling testing for allergies, evaluating and assessing nasal airflow issues, snoring, chronic sinus issues
    
    
  • Mouth and Throat: Sore throats, tonsillar infections, evaluate mouth and tongue and throat lesions, hoarseness, reflux disorders
    
    
  • Skin: Evaluate and schedule surgical removal of head and neck lesions

• • Thyroid: Thyroid, parathyroid and salivary gland disorders including medical and scheduling surgical corrective actions. 

Marilyn is accepting new patients, and appointments may be made by calling 434.792.0830. The practice will be open every Thursday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, closed for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30pm, and is located at 2232 Wilborn Ave. Suite F in South Boston, VA.
