Sovah Health announced that Salma Khan, DO, has joined Sovah Family Medicine Residency Program as a core faculty member, and is also offering primary care for patients at Sovah Residency Clinic – Family & Internal Medicine.
As a Family Medicine (FM) Core Faculty member, Dr. Khan will devote a significant portion of her time to training resident physicians and providing assistance to the FM Program Director in the development and leadership of the residency program. She will also provide primary care services for patients of all ages.

Dr. Khan received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York Institute of Technology (Old Westbury, NY) and completed her family medicine residency at Sovah Health Medical Residency (Danville, VA). Dr. Khan is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association.
At Sovah Residency Clinic, Dr. Khan is specializing in annual physicals, geriatrics, management of chronic illnesses, immunizations and vaccines, primary and preventive care, and minor procedures.
